Story no.13

Today’s story is about Delia Rus, a mother of two beautiful children and known by everybody as “the woman who connects patients with doctors .”

Delia dedicated all her professional life to the medical field. She was working as Chief Surgical Nurse in the Military Hospital in Cluj Napoca and Surgical Nurse in an important Plastic Surgery Clinic from Bucharest. In the same time, she completed her studies with a bachelor degree in PR and communication and a master degree in journalism and project management.

Using her new specializations, Delia successfully accomplished  the roles of PR Manager for several hospitals in Bucharest and communication specialist in medical issues for some important mass-media groups.

When you meet Delia for the first time, you notice immediately her kindness and her willing to help. She likes to offer advise, to inform and to guide patients. She spends lots of time talking with people, answering emails and being an active answer-giving forums member. Slowly, this communication with patients became a passion.

There comes a time in a family’s life when the children grown up and leave from home. This particular moment left Delia wandering through emptiness and confusion as she couldn’t find her role anymore. She was searching for a new purpose, but she didn’t want to work for a company anymore so she transformed her passion in a Guiding Center for patients. She has a very good medical knowledge, she is in contact with renowned and passionate medical doctors and she knows how to communicate with suffering people who are in need of information and guidance.

Nowadays, Delia uses her natural talent to connect with people, her education and her abilities to find the best doctors for the people with medical problems.

You can become independent at any age: at 30, 40, 50, even 70. Delia decided to pursue her passion after her children became independent and now her life is filled by the satisfaction that she can make the difference in many people’s lives.
